Kristian Aarrestad is fast becoming a rising superstar of the Bass Trombone, at only 17 he holds one of the most prestigious Brass Band Trombones positions that being the Bass Trombone seat at the Stavanger Brass Band, one of Norway's premier brass bands.

Kristian started playing the baritone in my school band when he
was seven, but at eleven, switched to the trombone, which quickly became his
main instrument. A few years later, Kristian joined Rogaland Youth Band (RUK), where he was given the opportunity to play with other talented young musicians from across the region.

In 2022, Kristian was accepted into Young Talents Bjergsted, a
program that helped him refine both his technical skills and musical
expression under the guidance of professional musicians. Kristian played for the Riska Brass band

In 2024, he reached a big milestone and joined
Stavanger Brass Band, one of Norway’s top brass bands. Playing at this level,
surrounded by some of the best musicians in the country, has been an incredible
experience for Kristian.

Along the way, He has also won a soloist award in his school
band division, which was a proud moment for him.
