Jack is 14 Years old and is from a brass band family so
has had access to instruments from a very early age.

At the age of 4 on a trip to Butlins contest Jack took a
fancy to an Orange and Black P-bone and the move onto Trombone was made.

Jack started playing in Whitworth Vale & Healey youth
band at the age of 7 and has since joined a number of other youth bands such as
Rochdale Music Services, Greater Manchester Hub Band, Yorkshire Youth and over
the past 2 years has been a member of the National Children’s band of Great
Britain In 2024 Jack moved up to the main band at Whitworth on 2nd Trombone and
has assist the Band in gaining promotion to the Championship section for 2026.

Jack covers on solo trombone at rehearsals and concerts for Whitworth band
when required and also deps with other bands on both Tenor or Bass Trombone,
most recently with Shepherds Youth on their debut at Youth in Concert at the
Glasshouse on Bass Trombone
