Dan Rose

Dan is now aged 15 and plays the Euphonium, , Daniel began his brass journey at just six years old with the Kettering
Salvation Army Learner Band, where he started on trombone. As his musicianship developed, he progressed through to the Kettering Salvation Army Young People’s Band,
demonstrating a strong commitment and natural musical ability from an early age. At the age of nine, Daniel moved to baritone, quickly establishing himself as a confident and musical player. His continued progress led to a significant milestone at fourteen, when he joined the Senior Band of the Kettering Salvation Army. After a short period playing 2nd baritone, Daniel transitioned to euphonium the instrument on which he now focuses and continues to grow. In December, Daniel furthered his musical development by joining Youth Brass 2000 on euphonium. With a busy schedule of concerts and contests, this opportunity marks an exciting next step as he continues to challenge himself and develop as a musician at a high level. Daniel currently plays euphonium alongside his father, Gary Rose, himself an ambassador for Mercer & Barker, making this appointment a special shared chapter in their musical journey. Daniel is passionate about refining his sound, embracing performance opportunities, and representing Mercer & Barker with enthusiasm, integrity, and gratitude.
