Tom Silvey: Bb Bass

Thomas Silvey joined the Five Lakes Silver Band in the 2018 season upon graduation from Clarkston High School. He has had the opportunity to participate in the Leonard Falcone International Tuba and Euphonium Festival, Michigan Youth Arts Festival, and Michigan Music Conference Youth Orchestra. Additionally, he has studied Tuba under the guidance of Steve Molnar.

Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in 2022. He currently works as a process engineer specializing in robotic assembly systems for automotive manufacturing.

Outside of work and the brass band, Tom delights in exploring Michigan through hiking, camping, and biking.
