Lionel Fumeaux Agrees to become M&B Artiste

We are please to announce that the fabulous Swiss Bass Trombone Virtuoso Lionel Fumeaux has agreed to become a Mercer & Barker Artiste and Ambassador for our Brand.

Lionel has been testing out the MB1BT "The Beast" over the past few weeks and likes it so much this will now be his go to mouthpiece, he will also be reviewing the MB1.25BT and MB1.5BT over the coming weeks and hopefully we will be able to post a demo video of his using the mouthpieces.

Lionel Fumeaux - bass trombone Brass Band 13 Stars. I had the pleasure of testing the Mercer & Barker "the BEAST" mouthpiece for over a week and my review is very positive. The mouthpiece is suitable for all styles of music. The mouthpiece requires a little more air than any other mouthpiece I have tried, but the result is very satisfying because the sound is really fantastic. I felt very relieved in the high and low register, no difficulty or resistance to go up or down. The attacks are very clean and the sound projection is immediate. Very pleasant to play in soft nuances and if you want to play stronger or even extremely strong nuances, they are not saturated and remain very controlled. In summary, I am very happy and satisfied with this new mouthpiece for bass trombone and I highly recommend it for trombonists with already a few years of experience.
