happy New Year to all our friends and customers, Its been a busy 2021 for myself and Carl, we managed to build the website, attended our first trade stand at the Cheltenham National Finals, became partners with the Fodens band and had their full Engine Room playing on MB Mouthpieces including creating the MB5 Cattanach with the assistance of Andy Cattanach principal BBb Bass player with Fodens. We have managed to release 3 x Bass Trombone mouthpieces which seem to be working well, we are getting lots of positive feedback, hopefully we will have some demo footage on the Facebook page along with here on the website. We were please to announce that we now sponsor the Fountain City Brass Tuba section who all pay on MB mouthpieces and that Brian Dobbins the principal BBb Bass player and joined forces with ourselves to manage our US Distribution Operation, the US Website www.mercerandbarker.us should go live within the next couple of weeks. Most recently at the Butlins Festival we confirmed that the full Desford Bass Section are now using Mercer and Barker Mouthpieces and Black Dykes Bass Trombone player Adam Reed has taken one of he Bass Trom selection to trial.
Now what's in store for 2022?? we are hoping to develop a number of new lines firstly Cornets with 3 x models due for release hopefully some time in February followed by the redevelopment of a couple of Euphonium and Tenor Trombone Mouthpieces so exciting stuff.
Finally i would like to thank all our customers and friends for the fabulous year we have just had. Our product is really getting our their, we are getting some great feedback and some real powerhouses using our product, the proof is in the pudding they say. We will continue to work hard and develop more mouthpieces throughout the brass Genre that will be readily available, British made and of a high quality and standard.
please see below the 1st batch of 2 Tuba Mouthpieces for 2022 after phase one completion.
